I can't remember how I found out about the free stuffed animal giveaway today but here I am in the student union in a huge waiting room full of students dead set on making a wolf, moose, or unicorn. Those are the only ones I've seen so far but I did hear a rumor that there are polar bears, which is definitely what I'm gonna get if I ever make it through this line. Even if we have to wait an hour, we will prevail. Hopefully they're calculating it right and they don't run out. I'm number 86 right now. Jeez. Also, there are mothers with babies and toddlers in the line and I feel like they shouldn't have to make their kids wait behind a bunch of loud, rude college students, but that's just me. I mean not all of the students are being obnoxious, but still. And I guess as a parent, it's important to teach your children patience anyway, so maybe it's just a learning experience. One little boy is trekking his four figurines all the way around the room and having a great time, while another little boy is just about done with the day, moping around and whining. He and I both need naps I think.
